Puerto Princesa, Philippines (March 2025)—RLC Residences reaffirms its commitment to building communities that raise little champions by hosting IRONKIDS Puerto Princesa 2025. More than a race, this initiative gives young athletes a platform to grow, be inspired, and feel the support of a nurturing community. 

Starting a three-year partnership with IRONKIDS from 2025 to 2027, RLC Residences kicks off this collaboration with the Puerto Princesa race, underscoring its dedication to empowering families and strengthening community bonds through sports.

This year’s IRONKIDS race saw remarkable performances from its participants, with young athletes showcasing their determination, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Among them are members of the RLC Residences Junior Triathlon Team, who made their mark on the competition with impressive podium finishes. Amir Kian Buensuceso secured 3rd place in the Male 9-10 Category, while Xavier Benedict Belleza also achieved 3rd place in the Male 6-8 Category.

This year’s IRONKIDS race saw remarkable performances from its participants, with young athletes showcasing their determination, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Among them are members of the RLC Residences Junior Triathlon Team, who made their mark on the competition with impressive podium finishes. “As a triathlete myself, it’s inspiring to see the shift—from parents leading races to kids now taking center stage, with their parents cheering them on. It’s amazing how the next generation is influencing their families to be more engaged and active together,” Torres added. 

Torres, an IRONMAN athlete, has competed in a total of eight half-distance IRONMAN events and one full-distance IRONMAN race. In 2023, he competed in the 35-39 age group, securing 14th place with an impressive finish time of 5 hours and 43 minutes.

Beyond IRONKIDS, RLC Residences also made a strong showing at the IRONMAN 70.3 Puerto Princesa, proving that strength, endurance, and determination have no limits. The RLC Residences Triathlon Team, a powerhouse of passionate athletes—including members of the RLC Residences family and its partners—competed alongside top contenders in this prestigious endurance event. Among them, Ronald Molit secured an impressive 4th place in the 40-44 age category, earning the title of the fastest Filipino finisher in the age group. Meanwhile, Rafael Silerio delivered a strong performance, finishing 6th in the 30-34 age category.

Adding to the team's success, two RLC Residences relay teams also made their mark, finishing 6th and 9th place in their respective categories—an outstanding achievement that highlights the team's dedication, teamwork, and perseverance in taking on one of the toughest endurance races.

The IRONMAN 70.3 Puerto Princesa is known for its scenic yet demanding course, testing the endurance and determination of every athlete. The race features a 1.9 km swim in the waters of Puerto Princesa Bay, a 90 km bike course through lush landscapes, and a 21 km run along the city’s coastal roads. This challenging course pushes athletes to their limits, making every finish a true testament to strength, resilience, and commitment.
