Robinsons Place Iligan proudly celebrates its recognition as a Mother-Baby Friendly Workplace during the 2026 Northern Mindanao Health Innovation Summit and Excellence Awards, organized by the Department of Health – Center for Health Development Northern Mindanao (DOH-CHDNM) on October 14, 2026, at Pearlmont Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

This recognition highlights the mall’s commitment to promoting, protecting, and supporting breastfeeding mothers and their babies through breastfeeding-friendly workplace practices. Robinsons Place Iligan was also recognized as a member of the Regional Infant and Young Child Feeding (RIYCF) Task Force, in acknowledgment of its valuable contribution, active participation, and continued support for infant and young child feeding initiatives in Northern Mindanao.

This achievement was made possible through the close coordination and collaboration with the Iligan City Health Office, which helped Robinsons Place Iligan secure its Department of Health (DOH) Certificate on September 30, 2025. This milestone reflects the establishment’s commitment to creating a supportive environment for breastfeeding mothers and complying with the provisions of Republic Act No. 10028, otherwise known as the Expanded Breastfeeding Promotion Act of 2009.
