Classic and contemporary, art and novelty all come together in De La Salle University – Dasmariñas’ <em>Fusion</em> where 13 groups of Lasallian entrepreneurs gather to showcase products of their own making. Launched last March 1, the exhibit will until March 18 at Robinsons Place Imus.
Composed of Entrepreneurship seniors, this batch is the 10<sup>th</sup> to take part in DLSU-Dasmariñas’ long-standing partnership with Robinsons Malls Entrep Corner—an initiative of Robinsons Land Corporation that has been a launch pad for carefully-screened startups from colleges and universities such as Silliman University, St. Paul University – Quezon City, De La Salle Lipa and Mapua Institute of Technology to mention a few.
Creating fresh twists to old favorites seem to be the prevailing concept of the exhibit--drinkable cakes by Bakes and Blend, rice and viand rolled into balls by Incrediballs, savory doughnuts by Pandoughra, fried pasta snacks by Frasta, Pasta-filled cupcakse by MAKE, skewered viands by Skew U, and rolled pizza by Rock and Roll Pizza are just some of the delectable offerings foodies can try.
Not to be missed as well are The FUN-nel Cakes bringing their own take on the popular North American carnival snack, Miam Miam with their convenient complete meals in a box, the hot-cold pancake experience by The Pancake Movement, “lollified” snacks by Pop Up and mini sandwiches by The Dough snack and bar. The only non-food company of the bunch, Artified, customizes bags and purses and turns them into wearable art pieces.
All 13 student-companies were subject to the same screening process as would-be tenants of Robinsons Mall ensuring that their product ideas are not only well-conceived but are also market-ready. Catch DLSU-Dasmariñas’<em> Fusion</em> at the Level 4 Hallway of Robinsons Place Imus.
