The Industrial and Integrated Developments Division was established to explore new avenues of growth and serve as a catalyst for diversifying earnings. This new division focuses on strategic landbank acquisition and township developments, participating in real estate-related projects of the government through Public-Private Partnerships, and the development of logistics facilities.
As a pioneer of the mixed-use concept in property development, RLC continues to seek ways to maximize synergies among its business units. Through the division’s strategic land banking concentrated on vast tracts of land, RLC will have increased capacity to create more township developments that incorporate different property formats such as residences, work places, retail centers, and other institutional developments into a single setting. In line with this, the division has undertaken two township projects: Bridgetowne and Sierra Valley.
Bridgetowne is a 31-hectare, mixed use township providing high-quality lifestyle, jobs, entertainment, and hospitality, truly creating an efficient, functional, and vibrant 24/7 destination that is envisioned to be a benchmark for sustainable urban community living. The bridge connecting the two parcels located in the cities of Quezon and Pasig will soon be completed, opening new possibilities for Bridgetowne.
Sierra Valley is an 18-hectare integrated project in the municipality of Taytay and Cainta. The ground-breaking of the anchor store and site works was held last 2018 to launch the development of Sierra Valley. This solidifies the commitment of RLC to make Sierra Valley as the new eastern gateway to Metro Manila.
With the growing logistics industry in the country, RLX Logistics & Facilities was launched to capitalize on the increasing needs for industrial estates. It opened its first RLX Warehouse in Sucat, Muntinlupa City last 2018 with 33,000 sqm of leasable space. The second RLX Warehouse will open in 2019 in Calamba City with 35,000 sqm of leasable space. RLX plans to build industrial and logistic centers all over the country where there is demand.
