Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), a leader in real estate and property development, has launched "RLC GenChats," a groundbreaking corporate campaign designed to bridge generational gaps, break stereotypes, and foster a more inclusive workplace culture.

The campaign kicked-off on April 26, 2024, and continues to roll-out across RLC's social media channels, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. It features a series of engaging videos, podcasts, and discussions that explore the unique perspectives and shared values of Gen Z, Millennials, and Gen X within RLC.

"RLC GenChats is our way of demonstrating that age is not a barrier to teamwork and productivity," said Fatima Olaguer, Deputy Head of Human Resources at Robinsons Land. "We believe that fostering open dialogue and encouraging mutual respect across generations is crucial to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected and celebrated."

Online Video Series: Exploring Generational Diversity

At the heart of the campaign is a two-part video series that features candid conversations among RLC employees from different generations. The series explores hotly debated topics such as work-life balance, social media use, career advancement, and evolving office environments and culture. These discussions aim to find common ground and challenge stereotypes, demonstrating that generational diversity can be a source of strength.

Podcast Series: Future of Workspaces and Banking

“RLC GenChats” also includes a two-part podcast series exploring the future of workspaces and banking. The first episode, produced in collaboration with Robinsons Offices and work.able, explores how RLC is leading the way in creating flexible and innovative office spaces that meet the needs of the modern workforce. The second episode features GoTyme, one of the fastest-growing banks in the Philippines, sharing how different generations approach banking and how GoTyme offers seamless and personalized customer experiences.

Top Leadership Perspectives: Mentorship and Collaboration

The campaign features insights from RLC key leaders and business unit heads, emphasizing cross-generational learning and collaboration. Their perspectives stress the importance of mentorship and open communication at every level of the organization, showing how a diverse workplace, built on respect and understanding, can fuel innovation and lead to success.

The Evolution of Corporate Style

"Corpcore" is another segment of the campaign, focusing on RLC employees and their "Outfit of the Day" (OOTD) at work, showcasing the evolution of corporate style. This segment highlights how the workplace has shifted to embrace creativity and innovation, with RLC adapting to these trends by creating an environment where employees feel comfortable, valued, and motivated to bring their best selves to work.

“RLC GenChats” has already received positive feedback since its launch, with employees praising its thought-provoking conversations and effort to bridge generational divides. The campaign has sparked meaningful discussions, encouraging employees to share their experiences and connect with colleagues across different age groups.

"We're thrilled to see the enthusiasm and engagement that RLC GenChats has generated," said John Richard B. Sotelo, Chief Marketing Officer at Robinsons Land. "It's a testament to our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, where everyone feels heard and valued."

RLC GenChats underscores Robinsons Land's ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion, focusing on attracting and retaining top talent while encouraging employees to grow and succeed within the organization.
