The Mid-Autumn Festival will be celebrated in a grand and unique style in Robinsons Galleria and in Robinsons Magnolia this September. This event is mounted in partnership with Confucius Institute of the Ateneo de Manila, International Studies of Chinese Arts (ISCA), Ling Nam Athletic Association and Mr. Choi Kitchen. From September 12 to 19, an ISCA Chinese Painting Exhibit side by side with Costume Exhibit will be staged at Robinsons Magnolia. On that weekend, September 17 and 18, shoppers can join in special workshops and ‘hands-on’ activity where participants can learn Name Art Painting, Lantern Painting, and Fan Painting. They can also join the Chinese Dice Game and win prizes. Enthusiasts can also have souvenir shots at the photo corner wearing the traditional Chinese Costume. At 5pm, the Philippine Ling Nam Athletic Association High Pole Dragon Dance will stage special numbers. At Robinsons Galleria, a well-curated Chinese Painting exhibit featuring 40 art work in watercolor can be viewed from September 18 to 24. Workshops on Mask Painting and Chinese painting will be conducted on September 24. Shoppers will also have a chance to win prizes from the Chinese Dice Game and take home limited edition Moon Cake for a minimum single receipt transaction worth P3,000. A maximum of 3 Mooncakes can be redeemed per person per day starting September 18 to 24.
