The Festival of Trees was conceptualized in 2015 when it was first launched as a Christmas initiative of Robinsons Galleria Cebu. The objective was to invite various organizations to display their own creatively designed trees supported with a write up about their advocacy and beneficiaries for the awareness of the public. During the second year of the event (December 2016), Robinsons Galleria Cebu team wanted to make the Festival of Trees a bigger event that would create more impact and awareness for partners and their beneficiaries. Leveraging on the power of social media, Festival of Trees became a unique holiday tradition that created an impact in the local community by generating awareness for its partner charitable organizations and their advocacies.
