This Christmas is different because of the very challenging year we’ve experienced and as we enjoy buying presents for our family and loved ones, it’s also a time for us to donate and share our blessings to others.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, schools shifted to a blended form of learning which steered Robinsons Metro East to donate two (2) units of 3-in-1 printer, ink refills, and fifty (50) rims of bond paper to their chosen beneficiary this holiday season, Sagad Elementary School. This equipment will boost the reproduction of learning materials needed that will benefit 35 passionate teachers and 1,167 bright young students of the school. Robinsons Appliances, Robinsons Supermarket, Handyman and Daiso also donated three (3) units of electric kettle and fifty (50) loot bags which includes new normal essentials like soap, alcohol, hand sanitizer, and face shield.

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto expressed his appreciation through a video message, “Hi to everyone from Robinsons Metro East! Maraming maraming salamat po sa tulong na binibigay nyo po sa Sagad Elementary School. God bless you more at advance Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year po sa inyo.” he said.

Sagad Elementary School, located in Brgy. Sagad, Pasig City is one of the free and accessible public elementary schools in the city catering to schoolchildren coming from four barangays namely Sagad, San Miguel, Caniogan, and Palatiw.
