Robinsons Movieworld partners with United International Pictures in the Philippine debut of two of the biggest comedy flicks of 2016: Sisters, starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler; and Daddy’s Home, starring Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrel. Sisters and Daddy’s Home, opening on February 10 and 17 respectively, will be screened exclusively in Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Metro East, Robinsons Magnolia, Robinsons Starmills, Robinsons Place Bacolod, Robinsons Iloilo and Robinsons Place Tacloban only.

In Sisters, America’s most beloved deadpan duo Fey and Poehler play siblings whose parents decided to sell their sprawling Orlando home and move into a ritzy retirement community.  Outraged to find out that they only have one weekend left to clean out the old junk in their bedroom, Maura (Poehler) and Kate (Fey) plan one last wild rager in the already sold house. The situation spirals out of control as their characters, polar opposites of each other, are joined by fellow other Saturday Night Live alums.  Clearly, Fey and Poehler are out to prove yet again that their pairing’s effortless timing and whip-smart humor is inimitable. Daddy’s Home, on the other hand, is a rollicking family comedy that follows the rivalry between step-dad Brad (Ferrel) and biological dad Dusty (Wahlberg).

What is supposed to be a civil first get-to-know-you meeting turns into an all-out warfare as buffoonish albeit well-mannered Brad and motorcycle-riding, freewheeling Dusty attempt to out-dad each other, with disastrous and side-splittingly hilarious results. Comedy enthusiasts may pre-order tickets as soon as February 5 at the participating Robinsons Movieworld branches, through their on-line ticketing system at www.robinsonsmovieworld.com and through the ClickTheCity App.
