To cater the needs of its shoppers and the commuting public, Robinsons Place Manila in partnership with the Local Government of Manila City recently launched its “ETRIKES sa Kamaynilaan” services that the general public can use as an additional mode of transportation.

There will be ten (10) e-trikes deployed daily in the following location of the mall’s vicinity to cover adjacent routes like Adriatico, Sta. Monica, and Midtown Driveway Area from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Other routes covered by these e-trikes are any point in Manila like  the busy districts of Ermita, Malate, Binondo, Tondo, Divisoria, Otis, Paco, Sta. Ana, San Andres, Sta. Mesa, Vito Cruz, and other nearby locations as long as it is within the boundary of the city. And as a safety measure, wearing of face shields and face masks, and physical distancing are strictly being observed.

Robinsons Place Manila is the only private company accommodated and considered by the city government to have these services available whereas this initiative is also aligned with the mall’s chosen beneficiary last Christmas season, the displaced jeepney drivers. Since most of our trusted jeepney drivers were greatly affected by the pandemic, they are now deployed and currently plying the roads of Manila as e-trike drivers.

This partnership will benefit not just the commuters but also the transportation sector that has been affected by the current health crisis. Most notably, this is also a big step towards having a more environment-friendly mode of transport.
