M. Night Shyamalan’s New Thriller The Visit to be Screened Exclusively at Robinsons Movieworld

Writer/producer/director M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense and Signs) teamed up with producer Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, The Purge and Insidious series) to produce one of the year’s most terrifying films:

The Visit.

To kick off on November 18, The Visit will be screened exclusively in the following Robinsons Movieworld branches: Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Magnolia, Robinsons Metro East, Robinsons Place Antipolo, Robinsons Place Malolos, Robinsons Place Iloilo, Robinsons Place Bacolod, Robinsons Place Tacloban and Robinsons Place Palawan.

The film follows the story of siblings Becca (OLIVIA DEJONGE of The Sisterhood of Night) and Tyler (ED OXENBOULD of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day) who are sent to their Nana (DEANNA DUNAGAN of Unforgettable) and Pop Pop (PETER MCROBBIE of Lincoln) to a remote farm in Pennsylvania for week-long vacation. Panic unfolds when the children discover that their grandparents are involved in something deeply disturbing and their chances of returning home grow slimmer by the day.

Shyamalan, who broke through in 1999 with worldwide phenomenon The Sixth Sense, goes back to his independent roots with The Visit. A noticeably smaller picture compared to his latest works, the film is slow-building, with the plot arising from the characters themselves. Banking on masterful storytelling, The Visit treats viewers to a visceral yet mischievous suspense.

Fans of horror flicks can pre-order tickets as soon as November 3 at the participating Robinsons Movieworld branches, through their on-line ticketing system at www.robinsonsmovieworld.com and through the ClickTheCity App.
