Residents of Pasig City will soon have another convenient place to go to for business registration, assessment and payment of taxes, application for regulatory permits and other local government transactions. In a memorandum of agreement (MOA) signed on February 20, 2023, Pasig City will have its new Robinsons Metro East Annex with expanded services at the third level of Robinsons Metro East located along Marcos Highway, Barangay Dela Paz, Pasig City.

Leading the signing were Pasig City Mayor Victor Ma. Regis "Vico" Sotto and Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) EVP and BU General Manager Faraday D. Go. Joining the two executives at the ceremony held at the People’s Hall were City Administrator Atty. Jeronimo Manzanero, Asst. City Administrator Atty. Diego Santiago, Head for Business Processing & Licensing Dept. (BPLD) Melanie de Mesa, and RLC VP for Operations and Marketing Joel S. Lumanlan.

According to Mayor Sotto, establishing the new Annex seeks to provide easier and faster government services for the transacting public, curb red tape and other corrupt practices.

RLC EVP and BU General Manager Faraday Go on the other hand, said that the company, through its Lingkod Pinoy Center, remains steadfast with its commitment to always make it easier and more convenient for its customers. "We fully support Pasig City's program to provide easy, fast and convenient services for its constituents and we welcome Pasiguenos to more delightful experiences in Robinsons Metro East while doing their local government transactions.”

Set to open by June 2023, the Robinsons Metro East Annex will primarily serve barangays Manggahan, Dela Paz, Santolan, Sta Lucia, and Rosario and house various offices of Pasig City including the Business Permits & Licensing Department for processing of new business registration, business permit renewal, amendment of business information, retirement of business, payment and assessment of real property taxes, assessment and release of regulatory permits such as the Certificate of Conformance, Sanitary Permit and Environment Permit to Operate.

The new Annex will also largely benefit from Robinsons Metro East’s unmatched accessibility, particularly with the opening of The Link which seamlessly connects the Mall to the Marikina station of the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2). The Link provides direct and convenient access for the commuting residents of Pasig, Marikina, Antipolo and other municipalities of Rizal to the Mall’s exciting mix of retail shops, dining establishments, and entertainment amenities
