QCinema at Robinsons Galleria: A Celebration of Cinematic Genius

In its third year, QCinema International Film Festival brings another exciting roster of feature length films and documentaries from acclaimed directors and promising first time filmmakers alike.


With 8 films joining the Circle Competition and 5 documentaries for DoQC Competition, QCinema is continuously evolving as a new platform for cultivating film culture in the Philippines. Apart from the entries, this year’s festival also screens foreign films that have been prominently been part of esteemed film fests and offer other intriguing movie sections such as Rainbow QC with films showing different faces of sexuality and sensuality, Music Genius with documentaries on music legends, Screenshots featuring short films from 4 Asian countries, Director in Focus highlighting the artistic genius of Gasper Noe, QCinema Reloaded bringing back past Circle winners and crowd favorites, Indie Nacional putting the spotlight on homegrown award-winning films that made waves in the contemporary film industry and Back Throwback to screen digitally remastered Filipino classics such as “Oro, Plata, Mata” by Peque Gallaga, “Bagong Buwan” by Marilou Diaz-Abaya and “Ganito Kami Noon, Paano Kami Ngayon?” by Eddie Romero.


Running up to October 31, cinephiles can catch the screenings at Robinsons Galleria and only two other cinemas.
