RLove, Robinsons Land Corporation’s (RLC) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project expresses its solidarity with the communities in San Fernando, Pampanga by supporting the project of the local government, Water for Life. Water for Life is a project that aims to help residents in urban poor communities by providing water hand pumps that will enable them to have regular potable water supply. San Fernando City Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin was present during the turnover of the water hand pumps to the residents in Barangay Malpitic. “One of the most pressing needs of far flung communities is a source of potable water when water lines from local distributor don’t reach their place. The solution to this problem is water hand pump or poso,” he said in his speech. “And we are very thankful to Robinsons Land Corporation for supporting this project which will surely help many families,” he added. Social involvement and community development is on the advocacies of RLove. The program believes that social involvement is important for society to progress, prosper and offer its members a good quality of life. “RLC has always aimed in contributing to our nation building,” says Mr. Mike Torres, RLC’s CSR Senior Manager. “This is the reason why we are supporting the initiative of the local government,” he added. Aside from the water hand pump, RLove also donated pails to the residents. With RLove’s support to Water for Life, hundreds of families in Barangay Malpitic will now have regular potable water supply. RLove is committed to put-up more water hand pumps in other barangays of San Fernando
