Robinsons Malls will be conducting a series free eye screening to indigents in several communities in Batangas and in Iloilo. This undertaking is under the auspices of The Gift of Change’s The Gift of Sight program which also extends free eye reading and single and double vision eye glasses to the beneficiaries. Lectures on common eye diseases and eye care were also conducted to promote consciousness and better eye health to the beneficiaries. A team of optometrists and opticians and The Gift of Sight (TGOS) volunteers will be visiting Robinsons Place Jaro next month while the next leg will be held in Robinsons Place Lipa, Batangas in October. Recently, TGOS served the Aeta Community who are based Sitio Sapang Bato, Angeles, Pampanga. The eye screening was held at the 3rd level of Robinsons Place Angeles. Ages 20 years old up to Seniors were screened for possible eye defects and ailments. Residents of Barangays Balibago, Ninoy Aquino and Malbanias were also happy recipients of brand new eye glasses.
