Robinsons Land Corporation, the country’s pioneer in mixed-use development officially launched its 17th mixed-use development located in Ilocos Norte with the grand opening of its commercial component, Robinsons Place Ilocos Mall Expansion. Robinsons Place Ilocos, Robinsons Land’s 29th mall opened in 2009. Being the first full-service mall in the province, it has been identified as the shopping mecca of the North and has been patronized by both local and foreign tourists, neighboring towns, and the Ilocano community over the years. Spurned by its successful track record over the past 7 years, RLC responded to the needs of its customers by expanding the size of the existing mall to include BPO office component. One of Robinsons Place Ilocos Expansion Mall’s attractive feature is its rustic architectural design accentuated by feature walls, stones, and clay bricks that makes it sophisticated yet cozy. A touch of modern style is shown through the futuristic lighting in its cinemas and refreshing water features in its Al Fresco area. Above all, it houses a well- curated retail mix of popular local and global brands like Cotton On, Giordano, Payless, Toys “R” Us, Daiso; as well as health and wellness salons and boutiques such as Watsons, David's Salon and Fresh Salon and Spa; and gadgets stores like Samsung, Oppo and Cherry Mobile that appeal to the Ilocano’s modest yet discriminating taste. There will also be various choices of casual dining restaurants and coffee shops at the expansion mall's new bridgeway and 3 additional state-of the-art cinemas located on the second level. The grand opening of Robinsons Place Ilocos Expansion Mall was led by (L-R) Faraday D. Go, Robinsons Land Corporation General Manager for Office Buildings Division; San Nicolas Vice Mayor Marlon Valdez; San Nicolas Mayor Alfredo P. Valdez, Jr.; Mr. Frederick D. Go, Robinsons Land Corporation President; Vice Governor Angelo Marcos Barba; Arlene G. Magtibay, Robinsons Land Corporation SVP and Business Unit General Manager of Commercial Centers Division. Robinsons Place Ilocos is one of the many Robinsons Land projects in the region along with existing horizontal residential developments such as Brighton Park Place, Brighton Park Place North and Hanalei Heights. It is also one of the seven commercial centers in the North Luzon with Robinsons Starmills, Robinsons Angeles, Robinsons Place Pangasinan, Robinsons Luisita, Robinsons Place Malolos and Robinsons Place Santiago, among others.
